An advisory practice built around the realities of how infrastructure gets done.
Stratavera Partners was founded to bring senior, integrated counsel to a stage of the project lifecycle that most firms hand off — the messy middle between concept and award, where the wrong decision compounds for decades.
A senior-led practice for infrastructure that moves people, goods and capital.
Stratavera Partners Private Limited is an integrated advisory firm headquartered in Gurugram, India. We work alongside national and sub-national governments, multilateral lenders, sovereign-backed special purpose vehicles, large infrastructure developers and institutional investors.
The practice was set up to do one thing well: bring decades of operating experience to bear on infrastructure decisions that have to be right the first time. Our engagements span the full project lifecycle — from the first feasibility study and demand forecast through transaction structuring, bid award and post-financial-close support.
The team has its roots in transport, logistics, urban infrastructure and real estate, and has deployed across India, Southeast Asia and Africa.
Four convictions that shape every engagement.
Domain depth beats horizontal breadth.
Infrastructure assets are unforgiving. A clever framework borrowed from another sector rarely survives contact with concession terms, traffic data and lender comfort tests. We invest in the depth that makes recommendations land.
The same team, end to end.
The person who scoped your problem is the person who builds your model and stands behind your bid. We do not hand off across phases — institutional memory is the asset, and we keep it intact.
Senior accountability is non-negotiable.
You'll meet your principal in week one and again in week 52. Junior teams support, but the senior bench is in the room when the call has to be made.
Outcomes, not deliverables.
A polished report that does not move the project forward is a failure. We measure ourselves on whether projects close, bids win and assets get built.
The engagement model.
We typically engage in one of three configurations, depending on what your project needs:
- Lead advisor — fully accountable for a defined work-product such as a DPR, feasibility study, transaction structure or bid evaluation.
- Embedded support — Stratavera professionals seconded into a developer or government team to provide capacity at critical phases.
- Independent reviewer — second-opinion review of work done by other consultants where lender or board sign-off requires an outside perspective.
Geographies.
Most engagements are anchored in India, but a meaningful share of the team's experience is international — particularly in countries where the bilateral and multilateral development finance system is active.
Our work has been funded by sovereign budgets, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, JICA and bilateral programmes — which informs how we structure engagements for compliance and reporting.
The bench.
Stratavera is led by a small group of senior professionals with two to three decades of experience each — not a top of the pyramid sitting above a large junior workforce.
